Metodología y Algoritmo de Reparto
Our domestic scheduling engine answers three core questions: What chores are due today? How many minutes will they take? How do we distribute them equitably?
1. Civil Calendar Recurrence
Unlike simple periodic timers, our recurrence engine distinguishes civil calendar dates from UTC timestamps. Monthly recurrences on days 29, 30, or 31 automatically clamp to the last valid day of February (28 or 29 in leap years) without calendar drift.
2. Capacity Enforcement
The system never exceeds configured member availability. If 120 minutes of chores are due but members only have 60 combined minutes available today, the engine prioritizes urgent and overdue tasks and clearly presents the remaining items as unassigned with honest explanations.
3. Proportional Historical Balancing
Workload assignments are calculated using a 14-day cumulative completion history normalized against each participant's declared daily capacity, ensuring that members with tighter schedules receive proportionally balanced chores.
